Take an unforgettable journey into the world of the African elephant

Children, accompanied by their parents are taken on a journey into the world of the African elephant and are guided through an unforgettable experience with these magnificent creatures. Visitors are able to touch, feed and get to know these animals during hands on educational tours which are available at various elephant sanctuaries throughout South Africa.

Tour Programme Details

There are daily tours and visitors can choose any or all of the following experiences: trunk in hand walks; elephant brush downs and elephant back rides (children must be 8 years or older for the riding).       This unique opportunity will allow children to walk hand-in-trunk with an elephant and learn all about the grace and delicateness of these mammoth creatures’ movement as they walk/glide across the ground.
