Join a mountain bike safari in Mashatu Game Reserve, Botswana, in an area historically known as the Tuli Enclave, and world renowned for its vast herds of elephant. Here at the confluence of the Limpopo and Shashe rivers experience the bush from a completely different perspective as you pedal along ancient elephant migration paths, cycle through herds of wildlife, and sleep under African skies.
Mashatu is one of the largest privately owned game reserves in Southern Africa. The diversity of landscapes in the reserve has led to an interesting variety of wildlife and bird species.
Day 01:
Meet on the South African side of the Pont Drift border post, and once border formalities are completed, enter Botswana and bike to the first wilderness camp for a night under canvas.
Day 02:
Head off to uncharted terrain as you discover new skills on rocky outcrops, sandy riverbeds and open plains all the while enjoying game sightings en route.
Day 03:
Bike towards Kgotla, the last camp, with testing terrain and changing landscapes making for a great ride.
Day 04:
After breakfast depart by vehicle back to Pont Drift border post.
