Day 1 & 2:
After a road transfer from Lilongwe airport in Malawi to Senga Bay, set sail across the lake to Cape Maclear. Spend two days here at a luxury lodge enjoying the variety of watersports and activities which enjoy scuba diving, snorkeling, waterskiing, sailing on hobie cats, mountain biking, or just rest and relax.
Day 3, 4 & 5:
After loading the yacht, ready for 3 nights on board, set sail south to Monkey Bay, stopping in at the harbour to view the local vessels. Continue south past Nkudzi Bay to anchor overnight on the lake. Visit Boadzulu island for snorkeling and swimming before sailing to Mpandi Island which is a marshy wetland where pelicans on the lake and hippos in the swampy area are frequently seen. Mzinzi Bay, a stop off for scuba diving or snorkeling, is well known for its crystal clear waters with an abundance of brightly coloured tropical fish endemic to Lake Malawi. Homeward bound for a last night anchorage at the Marelli Islands.
Day 6:
A short sail from Marelli Islands to Senga Bay for the road transfer back to Lilongwe airport.
